Will choose the place for future trips because this hotel met expectation. The venue is incredibly beautiful and fabulous with all you need for a memorable stay. The staff are welcoming and the location is great close to everything. There is Beccuti Bar nearby for a cup of coffee. The lounge bar is excellent.

Well-designed room and a minibar, climate control, and a personal safe inside. Excellent continental breakfast - nice selection...

The room I stayed in was beautifully furnished, well-lit, and spacious. The attentive staff efficiently assisted with my requests. The bar area offers late-night drinks, and breakfast features a good selection of pastries and fresh juices, catering perfectly to my preferences.
Air conditioning could be improved.

Excellent staff, they solve any issue, they try very hard. The sauna downstairs is nice, but I do not want to waste time on a sauna in Paris). Not bad cosmetics in the bathroom, a compliment in the form of a candy to sleep pleases.
The hotel chose on the recommendation of a famous magazine, but unfortunately now I understand that it was just an advertisement ... the hotel is very old! All in some kind of drapery... like they're trying to close something small, tight room, even though I was the only one who lacked space. Absolutely uncomfortable bath, no idea how to fit in it, all in curtains... At 8.30 pm, the service staff tried to enter the room...! (just by opening the door!) Breakfast isn't good. Everything you need to eat isn't good, tea cups are all black from coffee or tea, it's unpleasant. Located in a maze of noisy streets, in the afternoon against the wall goes construction (at 8 builders begin work), so there is nothing to do in the afternoon. Located far from the center, 30 minutes on foot, there is no way to get there without a taxi. The bathroom light wasn't on, the air conditioning wasn't working, so we had to call the staff.

It was wonderful.
Everything was wonderful. Loved the decor and the pleasantness of the staff of the hotel. Staff was very helpful and service was amazing. Loved the piscine and massage down there. Loved the staircase, the elevator, the hotel living area.
The WiFi was out the entire time we were there and there was no apparent attempt to fix it or compensation for the inconvenience. It ended up being a pretty major inconvenience to our trip because our plan was to buy tickets online in advance for a riverboat dinner cruise, but because there was never access to internet at the hotel, we weren’t able to do that before they were all booked and had to have a regular riverboat cruise instead. We were also not able to reserve a rental car online for when we returned to the United States because the WiFi was down the whole time we were there. Yes, we could have found WiFi on our phones while out and about in Paris, but we only had a few days, and seeking out a cafe that had WiFi was also a hassle with trying to arrive on time to all of our tourist things. I would not normally be affected by something like this, but this was a once-in-lifetime trip, so our time was precious while we were there. Also, I realize that it can be very difficult to get internet problems fixed, so we understand that. It would have been nice to have been offered some compensation for the price of our stay because of the lack of WiFi. Maybe a 10% discount would have been nice. Although this was an inconvenience, we still thoroughly enjoyed our stay at L’Hotel and would stay again and recommend it to other people. :)

I was enchanted by the exquisite decor throughout L'Hotel, particularly the lavish fabrics and rich colors. The historic charm combined with elegant furnishings.
A bit more seating in common areas would help.

Ideal accommodation, the breakfast was sensational, fantastic location in the right area. Location: the hotel was close enough to the arts precinct, the stadium and the Paris. Ate at Le Procope, it's a 10-15 minute walking distance from the venue.

Staying at L'hotel was an experience by itself. It is a well hidden jewel with many surprises. If traveling as a couple it is a must to reserve the intimate pool experience. It was one of the most romantic moments of my life. You must also have a drink at the cozy bar where you can have legendary drinks.

Wonderful atmosphere, intimate, stylish. Great staff, perfect location.
As is usual in Paris, small room and lighting, whilst romantic, was difficult to read in.

This is what you're really getting
Charming hotel steeped in history, tucked away in a quiet Parisian street. Small rooms add to the intimacy while the attentive staff was good. Enjoy the good breakfast and don't miss the serene hammam. Ideal for those wanting an authentic experience, although you might sacrifice some modern amenities. Recommended for romantic getaways!

Charming hotel with lovely helpful staff and great location if you want to be on the left bank. Unique and very original style of decoration. Cosy bar and apparently a very good small Michelin starred restaurant (I didnt eat there as it was closed for the two nights I was there .. sunday and monday nights). I had a room at the back of the hotel which I would recommend if you want a quiet room.
The rooms and bathrooms are really quite small. Fine for a couple of nights but I think more than that I would have started to feel a bit cramped. Can be a bit of a problem when you order breakfast in your room as there is really very little space to put the breakfast tray. However that would not necessarily put me off. However not the place to stay if you want, for example, large walk in shower and plenty of space. However the unique style and helpful staff goes some way to making up for this.

L'hotel was described on www.Seat61 website as a unique romantic intimate hotel. After looking up L'hotel webpage we decided to book our stay. It turned out to be just as described by Seat61. It was just what we had hoped it would be and better. Location was excellent for our walking to the sites we wanted to see and things we wanted to do.
